The
Auction Day
There
are three things that make an auction successful. A well organized auction will
produce excitement, confidence and competition.
Auction
Process
Before
the auction begins, bidders are allowed to get a last look at the property. Knowledgeable
staff will be on hand to answer any last minute questions regarding the property.
This also allows us another opportunity to accentuate key property features, putting
emphasis on its value.
We
talk with each bidder prior to the auction to ensure they understand bidding process.
A bidder that understands the process becomes more confident and will be more
competitive.
Therefore,
the auctioneer explains the auction process, how to bid and the terms of the auction.
During the bidding,
Alaska Auction personnel are available to answer questions and relay bids to the
auctioneer.
Once
the bidding has stopped, the auctioneer will give ample warning that the bidding
is about to close then the property is sold to the highest bidder.
After
the auction, we will meet with you and the successful bidder to sign the necessary
paper work and arrange for closing within 30 days.
